NAE PASARAN – JANUARY SCREENING

Rating: 12A

Duration: 1h 36m

We’re delighted to announce our January film screening.

With Robert Burns night approaching, we decided to put Scotland Centre stage and screen Nae Pasaran. A 2018 documentary directed by Felipe Bustos Sierra about a group of workers at a Rolls-Royce factory in East Kilbride, Scotland, who refused to work on Chilean Air Force parts from 1974-78 due to the atrocities carried out in Chile by the Pinochet dictatorship.

The film includes a special introduction by John Keenan, one of the original activists and stars of the film who was on the Rolls Royce committee throughout the boycott.

Nae Pasaran is a reminder that the actions of a few people making a stand against injustice, can bring about major change.

Nae Pasaran (2018) will be available to watch (free or donation) on our NEW online service (Eventive) for the next month.
